#FTLStrong FLPD vs. FLFR Breast Cancer Awareness Dri Tri Fundraiser

In our continued effort to raise awareness for breast cancer, Chief Schultz has authorized the FTLStrong Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser, with all proceeds benefiting FLPD employees battling catastrophic illnesses. We are excited to announce the FLPD VS. FLFR Dri Tri Breast Cancer Fundraiser Event, developed to promote overall wellness and foster healthy competition among our FTL family. Awards, prizes, and, most importantly, bragging rights will be up for grabs!

Orange Theory, located at 1835 Cordova Road, has partnered with FTL in support of this initiative and has graciously offered their studio to host the DRI TRI Fundraiser on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. For those who dare, The WOD (Workout of the Day) will encompass a DRI TRI: 1,000-meter row, 150 bodyweight exercises (Squats, Bench Taps, Push Up, or Planks), and a 1.5-mile run/jog. A maximum of 18 (3-person) teams are allowed per session with sessions taking place at 1300-1400hrs, 1400-1500hrs, and 1500-1600hrs on that day.

To register your team for this event, a fee of $75 per team can be paid through the Jack Lokeinsky Trust Fund by clicking the "Register Team" button or at https://www.fortlauderdalepoliceofficers.org/ under the #FTLStrong drop-down. Also, email Sgt. Collins, PSA N. Trujillo, Ofc. Hagerty, or Ofc. A Jackson. Please include your team name, each team member’s name and contact information, as well as your team’s desired session time slot.

For additional information, please contact District 3 Community Support Unit members: PSA Nicole Trujillo, Ofc. Kerri Hagerty, Ofc. Antje Jackson, Therapy K9 Ofc. Doug Ng-A-Kien.

Participation is not limited to the DRI TRI Fundraiser. You can come out to cheer on your favorite team and also provide a monetary donation through the Jack Lokeinsky Trust Fund.
